Julie Larson, Guest Instructor Bio

Guest Instructor: Julie Larsson is a local artist living in Peoria Arizona.

At the age of six, Julie began drawing and painting in both elementary and high school, she explored watercolor, oil and acrylic medians as well as clay sculpture.



A self-taught painter Julie has refined her skills with social media video tutorials, instructional “how to” books and years of practice, completing over 250 paintings in the last 10 years.

Recently, Julie has begun to teach others the joy of artistic expression by offering pain.ng tutorials to groups of 20 people or less. The Ridges at Peoria has encouraged Julie to offer pain.ng tutorials to seniors in Peoria, Sun City, Surprise and Glendale, often in churches and R.V. Resorts.

In the past two years, Julie has instructed over 2500 local seniors in learning the joy of painting.
