WELCOME Artisans!


The Artisans League at Trilogy in Vistancia is a vibrant and dedicated arts collective that thrives on volunteerism and creativity.  What started as informal gatherings has blossomed into a thriving community of over 130 members.  We are passionate about supporting local artists by offering classes, workshops, bi-annual art shows, an open studio and social events with other artists.


Whether you are just beginning to explore your interest in art, returning to a long-held passion, or already an experienced professional, we invite you to join us and discover what inspires you!

ADVANCED PAINTING

Instructor: Joye Melby

 

Artist and educator Joye Melby is as passionate about teaching art as she is about making art.  Joye is an Award-winning Educator from Washington State where she spent 25 years in the classroom developing an award winning Advanced Placement Art Class with a program that helped students develop portfolios and win awards and helped them advance to Art Schools and Art Careers.  Joye is delighted to bring her expertise to students at Trilogy helping each student develop skills that help each individual develop their unique style.

Joye earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Dakota and a master’s degree from Western Washington University.  She is also a National Board Certified Teacher.  She has had extensive experience building her art career doing Art Shows and gallery work in Washington and Arizona.  Joye looks forward to working with you.
